Elite Academy Football and Community Sports Coach

Alfie Mc Givern is a dedicated trainee community youth and sports worker at Pro Touch SA CIC. His journey with PTSA began as part of the Camden Council Pathway, an initiative aimed at providing local NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young individuals with paid positions to explore potential career interests. Alfie committed himself to this endeavor, dedicating 35 hours a week since March 2023 as part of this paid placement.

His progression throughout this period was nothing short of impressive, leaving a positive impact on the children and young people he engaged with. His exceptional performance warranted an offer for a part-time contract with Pro Touch, an opportunity he enthusiastically embraced.

Alfie's growth and development have been remarkable. He took the lead in managing one of several sites for our holiday camps, including the prestigious location of Westminster. Currently, he actively contributes to delivering sessions in our Elite Academy, community programs, and school initiatives. Alfie has earned a well-deserved reputation for his dedication and the high regard in which he is held by all.
