Paul Davis

SEND Youth and Sports Development Lead

Paul currently holds the position of Lead Coach for the SEND Team, a role he has filled since 2019. At the age of 26, Paul, who has Asperger's, is deeply passionate about coaching and collaborating with individuals who have a diverse range of disabilities and mental health challenges.

Paul has personally participated in Pan Disability-level play with Cheshunt Inclusive, enjoying a highly successful tenure. His achievements as a player include triumph at the Chelsea Foundation Disability Showcase tournament in May 2018 and consecutive league titles in the Herts Senior Pan Disability League.

In 2013, Paul completed his FA Level 1 certification and subsequently gained coaching experience at Somers Town Future in both 2012-2013 and 2017-2018. He has since advanced to become a UEFA C License holder.

Paul's journey with PTSA began with volunteering at the end of 2018, leading to the establishment of the Pro Touch SEND Team. In his role as lead coach, he has remained steadfast in his dedication to working with individuals who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and mental health concerns within the local community.

One of his initial achievements was reaching the semi-finals in Bedford at the FA People's Cup Pan Disability Championship level, following a successful preliminary stage in London. His accolades continued with a victory in the West Ham Foundation Tournament Championship Level in October 2019.

Paul's commitment and contributions were honoured with the Adult Volunteer Award at the Camden Youth Awards in March 2020, solidifying his role as a community champion.

In 2023, Paul received recognition by being shortlisted for the annual Westminster City Council Active Westminster Inclusive Award, with the outcome to be announced later in the year.
